Died from wounds received in action in France, 26th-27th September at Royal Infirmary, Sheffield, on 4th inst., Private John Archibald Allan (Jack), 5th Cameron Highlanders (Lochiel’s), aged 19 years, eldest and dearly loved son of Mr and Mrs Allan, 22 Craigpark Drive, Dennistoun. “Promoted”.
