Second Lieutenant James Henderson McCracken, Royal Scots Fusiliers (killed), was the elder and only surviving son of Mr. John A. McCracken, Garthland Drive, Dennistoun, Glasgow. He enlisted in the Highland Light Infantry in June 1915 and in May last received his commission. In civil life he was on the staff of the Sun Life Assurance Society, Glasgow.
