Killed in action whilst consolidating new trenches after an attack South of Givenchy, he was hit in the neck and killed by an enemy bullet.

Buried Villers Station Military Cemetery, 1 mile North West of Villers-au-Bois, 3¾ miles South West of Aix-Noulette, France.

News has ben reveived of the death of Lieutenant Alexander Goodwin Nisbet, Canadians, second son of Mr. James Nisbet, 557 Alexandra Parade, Glasgow and brother of Mr. William Nisbet, Stoneywood Park, Denny. Lieutenant Nisbet was 28 years of age. Ten years ago he received an appointment in the Canadian Bank of Commerce, Ontario, but was laterally in business as an insurance and real estate agent. He leaves a wife and one child.
