CHARLOTTE MORRIS ARNOLD

Charlotte Morris Arnold – age 29 – Civilian Nurse of the Civilian Nursing Reserve.

Charlotte was also educated at Hutcheson's Girls School in Glasgow and at Elgin Academy before she began her nursing training at Woodend Hospital Aberdeen. She moved to London and at the outbreak of war was posted to St. Stephen's Hospital in Chelsea. She was killed during an air raid.

Daughter of Herbert Lawford Arnold of Onslow Square, Dennistoun, Glasgow and of the late Alice (Asher) Arnold. Niece of the Misses Asher of 27 Academy Street, Elgin, Morayshire.

Killed by enemy action on 16 October 1940 and buried in Elgin Cemetery.
