William Hamilton – age 32 – Donkeyman, S.S. Radhurst (London) Merchant Navy.

The “Radhurst” sailing from the Tyne to New York was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-525 east of Newfoundland. (Source: uboat.net)

Son of James and Minnie (Motts) Hamilton.

Husband of  Catherine Hamilton of 116 Millerston Street, Dennistoun, Glasgow E1 who he married in Camlachie, Glasgow in 1929.
