Robert Muir Kay – age 23 – Lieutenant (229805) 8th Battalion, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.

Robert was commissioned in April 1942. (Source: London Gazette 14/4/1942 p.1701)

The 8th Argylls landed on Sicily in July 1943.
