Alexander William McGarva – age 21 – Sergeant (1365081) Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.

Alexander's Lockheed Hudson of the No.1 (Coastal) Operational Training Unit took off from RAF Silloth in Cumberland for a training flight but crashed into the sea off Cahore Point, County Wicklow, Ireland. (Source: csnul.ie)
