Francis Wallace McKinlay – age 23 – Sergeant/Observer (581187) 44 Squadron, Bomber Command, Royal Air Force.

Frank's Hampden bomber took off from RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire for a raid on Breda in the Netherlands but crashed at nearby Oosterhout. (Source: aircrewremembered.com)
