Duncan McVean – age 23 – Lieutenant (285564) 10th Battalion, Highland Light Infantry (City of Glasgow Regiment)

Duncan was commissioned in the Royal Artillery in July 1943 and was transferred to the HLI in Jan 1944. The 10th HLI crossed the Rhine at Xanten on 24 March 1945 (Operation Torchlight) He was buried in Mehr Cemetery but was re-interred in Reichswald in November 1946.
